Dr. Robert Brucker leads research efforts at DermBiont.

He was a Fellow at Harvard University where he ran a research program on the applied microbiome and host-microbe mechanisms.

Rob has helped design and conduct over twelve clinical microbiome studies and has dozens of publications related to host-microbe associations and (published in journals Nature ISME, Science, and Nature Communications), including experimental probiotic trials for antifungal activity.

Dr. Brucker has sixteen years of genetics, microbiology, natural product chemistry, and applied microbiota experience. Rob received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Mount Union and earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Vanderbilt University.
